Bikepacking, Canon Beach, Oregon

Ralentir la cadence

We spent the last 2 days riding the Oregon coast. The breathtaking bike route took us along the ocean, through nice towns and old growth forests. Steep punchy or long climbs and head winds are well worth the effort. Cannon beach was beautiful, charming town with a great beach landscape, but pretty much the whole ride was impressive!

I can still find good coffees everywhere and enjoy the breaks to get away from heavy rainfalls. We took the time to visit and do some cheese tasting in Tillamook before hitting the road yesterday, surprised that I could find good cheese over here.

We are slowing down the pace to really enjoy the scenery. After grey and rainy weather the sun is slowly coming back. There are a lot of great state parks along the way and the one we chose has an amazing beach and unlimited hot showers 🙂

We started in Newport today, which was my starting point when I rode down to SF two years ago. I am happy to relive the experience, but at a slower pace.
